  1. Wow. My thoughts were not very organized, were they? The Hydroguard is what I get a 32 oz bottle for $31. Not the neem. I placed the sentences in the wrong order. The neem, I actually still have from 2 years ago. The people who helped me get set up gave me a partial bottle, as that is all they use for mites and PM and things. But they still have them, so I opted to find my own path. (LOL.)

I may look into that silica blast once I am regularly running photos again. The ones I have grown got so darned tall I had to tie every single stem up. Man... especially before I try to grow out the Skywalker again. Those got absolutely MASSIVE, and had I not lost half the crop to PM (the treatments, actually), I am sure that tent-full would have climbed well over a pound. I am saving the last of those seeds until I have my cloning game on target, so that I can keep it going. Like I said, they really did get massive. I had the light tied to the tippy top of the tent to try to keep enough space, despite bending them over as much as possible. I still had a few spots get burned by the light, despite all of that. Then, like I said, once they went full bud, they were falling over everywhere. I will definitely want to clone that one regularly to keep it blooming. It would be very, very nice to have a regular pound-plus harvest. Maybe it would actually satisfy both my patients herbal needs, as well as still giving me enough to make candy from. LOL.

  4. Well, had the ultrasound today, and have the endoscopy Friday morning. I should have the ultrasound results within 24-48 hours, so sometime Thursday, hopefully. And I'm sure I'll have a few biopsies taken Friday while I'm barely cognizant, which will then take another few days before I get those results. Frankly, I'm not sure which would be better--they find nothing, and I'm just stuck with life as is, or they find something, and I have to go through more testing/more procedures. I guess, as long as, if they find something, it can be repaired, then I think I'd be happy for them to find something. If it can't be repaired, then I'd rather they find nothing, because being told "hey, you have this, but you're stuck living with it" sucks. Already have a few things like that I deal with... would rather not have more to add to that list.

I didn't take any pictures this weekend, but the room is cruising along. I'll probably take pictures next weekend.

  8. Endoscopy showed nothing. Meaning, no ulcers, no damage, and the hernia is very minor. So, I have another ultrasound scheduled to check my gall bladder. If that shows nothing, I have to start taking my stomach meds twice a day. I hate pills. Always have. It's frustrating. Granted, I know that the gall bladder U-S will show at least sludge. I've known I've had sludge for almost 20 years. But then the question still remains as to whether it is bad enough to be removed, or if I am still stuck with it. *sigh* Oh, and still no word on the results of the other U-S yet. I'm telling myself that "no news is good news", and I am refusing to let myself travel mentally down any other road right now.

  10. I couldn't bring myself to click the like button for this post, because it's a mixed bag for you, to be honest. Good to hopefully get something you won't have to fix constantly. Not good that you have to go through it.

I turned 43 yesterday, and today I finally got the call from the doctor's office with my test results. Unfortunately, we are in a temporary holding pattern. I have to wait 6 weeks and have another pelvic ultrasound done. I have a 2cm fibroid in my uterus, a small cyst on my cervix (neither of those really matter, frankly), and 3 cysts on my right ovary. The right is more than double the size of the left, presumably because of the cysts. 1 of those is what is called a 'simple' cyst... normal, and will go away on its own. The other 2 are complex, but it is the 3rd one that is the cause for concern, as it is 'irregular' and shows 'possible mural nodularity'. When I have the repeat ultrasound, the hope is that they will have all resolved themselves without any intervention. However, if #3 is still there and/or any larger than what it currently is, the next step is an MRI with contrast, and the knowledge that there is a 21% risk of it being malignant. So, now, I wait...

It's going to be a LONG 6 weeks. Hopefully, I can just keep myself busy enough to not think about it. REGARDLESS... it will likely be after the new year before I get any kind of definitive answer on that. Between now and then, I have 4 more baby blankets to get crocheted. The one I am working on right now is absolutely beautiful. I'll try to remember to take some pictures before I give it to the expectant momma.

  11. i hate those ''with contrast'' tests..they're necessary but PIA if you're a hrd stick..music is gonna hv to go on bk burner again..car is a little more practical evryday tool ..music ATM is nebulous..its not like people are banging on my door for my skills...in fact my skills are pretty bk dated not ''modern''..i watch a modern drummer on YT..guy is in erly 30's in the nashville area and has a whole teaching program he hawks..i like what he teaches mainly cause i can see how the industry has changed thru what he teaches..whoever heard of ''church drumming''..in my time that did not exist now its a viable well paying gig..common now that guys hv metronomes on their kit so they don't have to rember or feel what the time signature is for a song...huh? near as i can understand it reduces discussions about how fast a song is going to be...gee..i thought that was the drummers job when did we lose it? ay yah! my Dad was a teacher..a gd one..when he retired frm his regular job he went bk to it to teach what he knew..he quit because he couldn't deal wit the nu breed of students..you're in my classrm take your hat off! i didn't get it at the time but i get it now...generational difference..this generation does evrything to avoid 1 on 1 contact..email and text..God forbid someone say something in live speech they don't agree wit..they crumble! i find this attitude a lot but its real disturbing how it plays out in music these days..idk its up in the air..drove the car to the grocery store a mi away and got groceries..so at least i'm not totally marooned..car was nice to me and i'm of a mind to keep her afterall..just gotta do compression test..passes that i'll spend the $200 for nu injectors and probally keep her..chalk it up to her way of lettin me know to replc all the injectors not just one..we'll see...often thass all you can do like your med stuff..meanwhile you carry on best you can..things will fall into place..

  15. Thanks, Paulie. I'm doing really well at not "borrowing trouble" right now. As long as I can keep this up through this interminable waiting period, I should be good. Whether it comes back as good or bad news, though, the prognosis should be good. The suspicious-looking bugger they are concerned about is only 12x12mm right now, so even if it is "bad", it's being caught super freaking early.

  16. So, I have made a general observation in my room, and I think it might tie in to some of the success I've had using Jiffy pellets, where others have not. I normally just use the 1 1/2 inch garden pellets most people use to start their tomatoes and other vegetables. This last batch, I ran out of my normal and bought some from the grow store. Those are 2 1/2 inch pellets. It would appear that the larger jiffy pellets cause the plants to stunt. Even my photoperiods are way behind what they normally are at this time in their growth cycle. They are 4 weeks old, and are only the size I am used to seeing at about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks.

Needless to say, I'll be ordering a set of the smaller size pellets that I am used to working with, and going back to those.

  19. Dishes are done, cupboards have been scrubbed, floors swept and mopped, dining table cleared of my clutter (mostly... just a tiny bit left which will take minimal work), kids clothes picked up from the bathroom floor and put into the hamper (even as adults...). Hubby is getting ready to make our dinner while I take a short break. Then I have to get the res changes in the room taken care of, set up my next 3 autos into their buckets, and start 3 seeds of Peyote Critical (photos). My Gorilla Glue's are finally starting to show some good growth. I imagine I should be good to start flowering them in another couple of weeks, I'd think 4 weeks at the most before they will need to flower before they'll end up too tall. Which reminds me... I need to get that second tomato cage bent to place over the 2nd GG. I want to give them as much support as possible.

I decided this last time, since things have been decidedly disappointing lately, that I would go ahead and give the AN Sensi Ph Perfect nutes a try. I also ordered a package of 100 of the smaller jiffy pellets I am used to working with, so that should help, too. Anyhow, I picked up the grow nutes 2 weeks ago (just opening the bottles today, though). I'll be getting the bloom nutes in a couple of weeks.

Perhaps when I get the res changes done, I might take a few pictures of the GG's and some of the younger plants. I have 3 I won't be taking pictures of, though, because they look like hell.

Alrighty. Hope everyone is having a nice holiday weekend, and has a glorious week ahead of them!
