Ever seen this bug (black and white?) in soil??

    Bug in soil, saw 2 at least, about 2 times the size of a tip of pen.. pics included . Anyone know what it is??

    Lady bugs good for your plants. They eat other bugs.

    As a pest control guy, I'd say it looks more like a carpet beetle than a lady bug, but a lady bug would make more sense. If it's a carpet beetle, it's more than likely a random entry. Pick it off and move on. As mentioned, leave the lady bugs alone.
