I'd like to add some epson salt to my bubbleponics set up to help my plants out cause I think thats whats they are lacking, how much would i mix into 5 gallons of water? i was thinking 2 teaspoons but wanted to check
A little epsom salt (not 'epson') goes a long way. For soil, add a teaspoon per gallon perhaps only once or twice during the entire grow, certainly not every feeding or watering. Or, you can add just a tiny pinch to each of multiple feedings. Sorry to say I don't know about hydro dosage. To the OP, you say you want to add epsom salt because you "think thats whats they are lacking", what makes you say that? Epsom salt will provide magnesium to your plants, are you seeing signs of what you think is mag def, and if so what signs?
I've been getting a purple tint to my stems and read that it could be from magnesium def. is that right toastybiz?
