Energy Saving

  1. So a friend of mine that grows did this to help his energy cost and it saved him 30$ on his heat/electrical bill. So I thought to share this knowledge. Also thought maybe others would add to outside the box thinking besides turning off the obvious electronics not in use.

    What he does is simple, he turns his water heater to pilot and only turns it on when he's gonna do laundry, dishes, shower etc.. So it doesn't kick on unnecessarily throughout the day when not needed.

    I hope people keep adding to this thread maybe we all save some more money and add more greens in both sense. :smoke:
     
  2. Or you can just do your lights at night when your energy use is at a minumum.
