So, I had a REALLY sore ear yesterday. A few days before I had very mild cold symptoms. But anyways yesterday my ear was just killer (cold symptoms all gone), it hurt both to swallow and spit (I know...) and the pain reached so far in that the edge of my tongue hurt too. Today my ear is fine but the edge of my tongue is still sore -- still hurts to swallow. Has anyone had anything like this? I haven't read too many explanations for ear-tongue pain online that don't involve cancer, and uh, I'm hoping it's not that.
