That's not really true. Dodo's were mostly killed off by cats and dog which humans brought. It was a closed ecosystem. Dodo's wouldn't have survived any invasive species.

I had an encounter with a dumb animal yesterday. I heard a loud bang in my backyard and I thought ''what the hell?'', so I went to investigate. And to my shock, there was a kangaroo in my backyard; it had knocked over one of our garbage bins. I was too scared to walk out into the yard, so I waited safely behind the screen door, until it hopped back up our driveway toward the street. It hopped right across the road and nearly got hit by a car, and that was the last I saw of it.
