    You would have a better chance of using a glass on glass glue. You should be able to find one at your local hardware stores. (lowes)

    umm a couple of things to note. you should use a food grade or aquarium glue. It doesn't matter that the stem isnt in water or you think it won't get hot, you can still inhale its toxicity. I cant tell what the lumpy thing near your bowl is. It kinda looks like a rubber sleeve, if it is, slide it down to cover the break and make a better seal. good luck, i`ve made it a habit to always pick up an extra DS just for such eventualities.
