    So I'm meant to be buying off some guy soon an he wants to charge me about £30 for 3grams. Is that a rip off?

    2 grams won't fit in a regular joint. Maybe 1 gram if you pack it very tightly, but half a gram is more than enough for a healthy joint.
     
    3 grams for 30 pounds would be a shitload of money where I live. I could easily get 7 grams for that much money, but I don't know the average price in England, so no clue.
