    Not really since it is illegal to have it anyways, and redistributing or distributing is even worse because you are supplying people with a horrendous drug and making profit.

    Can they? I think you still have to admit to it or otherwise to be caught. Very well could be wrong, but a friend had to talk to cops in highschool about text messages he sent (he was selling) and he said it was an inside joke (obvious lie) but he didnt get charged

    They need a search warrant to check your messages unless you give them permission.
