I have been using mason jars with boveda packs for years but it seems like even the funkiest bud starts losing it’s skunkiness and stickiness/squishy texture after a few weeks. I recently got a vacuum sealer for meat but I have heard of people using them for weed. Would vacuum sealing it into portions help to preserve the freshness? If so, should I vacuum seal and then put the bags in the mason jar w a boveda pack? I wondered if the bag would interfere w the humidifying effect. Thanks!
Same goes for my bud as well. After a while it has a bit of a funky smell. Nothing terrible, but not the normal aroma it should have.
No point in putting a vacuum pack into a jar with a Boveda pack. Moisture can't get into or out of a sealed plastic bag. That's why you vacuum pack them in the first place.
