does smoking weed cause high blood pressure?

    Recently I went to the doctor and my blood pressure was dangerously high. Ive been taking it twice a day and its been high consistently. I quit smoking cigarettes three days ago because I thought that might be the reason its so high, but its still really high.

    Im a daily toker so do you think marijuana could be the reason it's high?
    Im 18 years old, 185 pounds and about 6 feet tall.
