Does purp cost u guys more?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by MIDNITE TOKES, Sep 28, 2010.

  1. helpn her or not I gots some dizzank
  2. Everyone is in agreement that purple bud is rarer to find on the streets at the moment, correct?

That in and of itself explains why the price can be higher, when there is less of something, it generally costs more.

Most purple strains require low temps in order to go purple, which can cause yields to suffer very slightly, another reason the price can go up.
And the best purples take longer to achieve, like I mentioned before, so they are often the last plants to come down; so indoors, the vast majority of purples who don't go over easily consume the most electricity, the most feed, and a bit of extra time for care/feeding on the growers part after the other plants have already come down.

It's not arbitrary that some people charge more for purple, it's not necessary to charge more of course, but there are usually a few good reasons that extend beyond the cosmetic ('pretty') value.
