Does Customs check state to state packages

    I placed an order shipping from Colorado to NC, shipper and shipping company are saying my package is being held. For taxes and levies? Not real familiar with online ordering and this was my first one. I think I’m screwed. Does customs check Abex.logistics

    U should deal with custome from state to state,,thats only country to country,,,so if its being held id say its at a usps or ups lacation,,where u order from if u dont mind?

    That's not good news.
    It could be that the shipper is suspicious of your package's origin, and knows it's seeds.
    I wouldn't admit the package is yours to anyone, because you might have some legal liability.
    My opinion is that the seed seller is responsible for replacing your order, because there is an assumption that interstate mail won't be messed with. The seller will probably comply, because you could cause them to lose customers by publicizing your problem.

    It might help the rest of us if we knew seed source and carrier.

    You can't get in trouble for ordering seeds
    You have to have them in your possession to "get in trouble"
    Even then, I think it's only illegal to grow not have seeds

    I feel you got jibbed. Customs doesn’t search state to state. The DEA likely does.. or in colorado the MMED. In Which case I’ve had luck dealing with them. But no you dont pay$760 to release $40 of product
