Does a Hanes T-shirt really work?

    I'm trying to make some hash, but can't see how a hanes t-shirt can work as a good screen/strainer. Do most people here actually use hanes t-shirts for this step of the process or do you use silk screens? I figured this is the most important part of the process as far as quality goes so I just wanted to make sure.

    i use pantie hose and coffee filters...

    A 4-6 pack of hanes shirts is like $10 around here.

    I think a pack of like 50 coffee filters is less than $10..

    Panty hose is like $1 for a pack of 2 around here...

    Dont use a shirt..
