Do you need to wrap the firecracker when you put it in the oven?

    Just saw the stickied post at the top and I was unsure of what the guy wrapped the firecracker in? Could I just get a cookie sheet and put my firecrackers on their or do I need to wrap them in something? Thanks

    I have always wrapped in aluminum, I heard this keeps potency in but I do not know for a fact.

    I normally put it on a baking pan while it is wrapped in tin foil. It works, no real reason for it, but it works.

    It doesn't make much difference, It reduces the smell cooked in foil though.
