Are CFLs the only kind of light that you can use for a grow box? Im using a regular 60 watt light bulb for one plant..
You don't have to use CFLs, however you really dont want to be using regular incandescent lights. They're really inefficient in terms of light output per watt. CFL's are your cheapest option for one plant. There's also other options for more powerful lights like metal halide (MH) lights or high pressure sodium (HPS) lights.
