  1. My new job just so happens to use US Bank for there financial institution. I hate that bank with a passion, do I have to cash it there?

Since it is a business check, will the place I bank at cash it?

Thanks, I know odd question for a stoner forum.

  2. I would think you would be able to... Right?
Can't you cash checks at pretty much any bank? Or does it have to be your own? Damn, I really don't know.

  3. you can cash a check that is written to you at the bank you bank with. like, if my mom writes me a check, with her bank being Wachovia, i can take it to my bank (semi-local bank i am not going to name) and cash it there, deposit, whatever i need to do.

if for some reason you can't, it doesn't hurt to go to your bank and ask about it or try to cash it. worst case scenario, you have to go to US Bank to cash it.

i know that if you go to a bank and try to cash a check, they will ask you for your account number or something. atl east thats what they did when i was a kid.
