how could only 12% of Americans support marijuana in 1969 when hippies took over every aspect of society? Wasnt that the time of the hippies, Woodstock, and the summer of love. Everyone was a hippie, everyone agreed with the hippies, they all wanted free sex, free love, drugs and rock and roll. Hippies were crazy about pot. How could only 12% of the country want what the hippies wanted at the height of the hippie era? It doesnt make sense. Could anyone explain this paradox?
because NOT everyone was a hippy? herpaderp having read the whole op i dont think you know much about the 60s lol
because it was mainly kids and young adults? all of the adults were in the reefer madness era i believe. that too ^^^ not everyone was a hippy
