do plants sag after being replanted?

  1. i saw a plant today that my friend is growing, and he was very worried because it was sagging a couple hours after the repotting. is this normal?

  2. A slight loss of perkiness is common after transplanting, but not "sagging". Wetting the new soil too much or bruising the roots would cause some drooping. If the plant was becoming root bound before transplanting, then it would likely droop when watered.
