Do not use baking soda and vinegar

    As an idiot i wanted to give my plans a boost so i saw a thread on another forum sayin that you can make CO2 by adding Baking Soda and Vinegar. So i tried it, i put a half a cup of Baking soda in to a bowl and then poured in the Vinegar. The Bubbles were going crazy, so i put it in front of my fan and it blowed the air from the bowl to the plants. I left it there for about an hour. When i came back the plants had V'ed, for ll of those who dont know what it is, its when your plants leave fold in half like a taco. The new leaves started to twist and it was going all wrong. I dont know what the problem was but all i kow is that I will never do that again. EVER.

    I dont think you "pour" the vinegar on the baking soda. I believe you take a 20 oz bottle like a coke bottle ...put some vinegar in it..put a small hole in the lid..then hang it upside down above the baking soda so it will drip. I have never used this method so I am not speaking from experience.
