So i have 2 1000w air cooled lights. the room stays at 76 with my ac going and it is 76 right at the top of the plants. right now the tops of the plants are only a few inches from the glass of the hoods. if theres no heat problem on the tops of the plants should i still have the light 8" above? can it cause stress from being too close even if its not hot?
There's also the consideration of light coverage footprint. Just because you CAN leave the light that close doesn't mean you should.
