Im new to growing so stay with me. But do different strains need different light? I was going to order Some Northern Lights and some Maui Wowie seeds offline but can i put them right next to eachother on the same light cycle and everything. Also I know NL is a low smell strain but what about Maui Wowie? I will be using Ona gel and a carbon filter.
no they need the same type of light... HPS/ MH or the correct spectrum of CFL if your going that route, or the correct spectrum of t5 or t8's the only difference between strains will the the length of time that each strain might have to be under the Flower bulbs to finish flowering... some strains need only 30 days to finish the flower cycle others two and a half months... so know that when you snap beans or purchase clones...
