Just wondering if anyone knew the differences, or if for all intents and purposes they are the same. i just ordered some of the Jock from Nirvana for 10 euro's (it's on sale), so i was hoping they'd be fairly comparable...but if not then it'll still be good stuff i imagine based on my last experience with nirvana genetics.
its most likely a knockoff and nothing like the real genetics of Jack Herrer. I read that the exact parents of the strain are a mystery and only the grower knows their identities.
I bought some Jack Herer seeds from marijuana-seeds.nl but haven't grown them yet. Maybe they'll be up next after my current grow is complete
from what i remember reading somewhere a while back, nirvana introduces new genes into their strains to breed them eg. bubblegum (i think) had some extra indica in it like NL#5 i believe. what do you expect from the cheapest knockoffs of the top strains that you can buy? in general though, most people seemed happy with their purchases in particular one white rhino grower who said it was the best smoke they ever had. i have some nirvana bubblicious, cali-o & pure power plant beans myself just to get started and for variety, but can't report on them yet as i've never flowered anything ever. check out the grow reports in the old overgrow strainbase http://www.onlinepot.org/OGStrainGuide/Strainguide/Nirvana/index.html sadly, the jock horror links are dead though, but 7.89 is a pretty decent rating BTW, look into cinderella 99, apollo 11 & super silver haze too as they're all related to jack herer. super silver haze in particular is the highest rated of them all and has one many awards, but i like the sound of C99 & A11 myself as they're less indica than JH & SSH. JH & SSH share the exact same parental strains except SSH reverses the parents in the final cross for what most people claim is a better female pheno.
