Did I get an Auto Flower?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by .Smoke, Jul 23, 2019.

  1. Hi all.
Was wondering if I managed to get an auto flower strain on my first ever grow with bag seed???

This has been on a 24/0 schedule for 8 weeks.
Flipped to 12/12 2 days ago. The picture was taken the same day before flip...

  2. I don't think so. I'm not sure what could've caused it to start flowering (maybe stress from 24/7 light with no darkness) but an auto would've started flowering much earlier. There's autos that are just about done at 8 weeks.

    But it definitely is flowering?

    If so,
I FIMed a few that looked like that. Did I screw myself?

  4. Yes it's starting to flower. No I don't think it's screwed just keep it at 12/12 and see how it goes.

  5. Could it be caused by a rapid/persistent drop in RH from about 65 to 53?
That did happen about 1 1/2 weeks ago...

  6. That's nothing to be concerned about. My rh fluctuates way more then that without issue. That's hardly anything. It wouldn't cause a plant to flower anyways.

Too me it just looks like the fim hasn't fully recovered and the pistils are showing the sex

  7. So where would you put it. A week in? More?
Few more pics from same day...

    That is odd.
The only other thing to change is they went from being under old florescent shop lights to a 315W CMH about a week ago.

Light intensity did more than triple then...

    Other than that nothing changed.
Grown in a basement so temp and RH are constant. Only reason it dropped is I turned off the humidifier.
    Same food, water and such...

  10. I don't find it odd. Plants will show preflowers before you flower them if they veg long enough. That doesn't mean it's flowering. It's just letting you know it's a mature female.
