  1. am i the only one or what! lets talk about how it has affected our health at all.....

wow either im fucked up or that is really korny sounding but id like to hear from some of you if you have diabete\'s because my mom is getting on my back about quitting cause she thinks that it kills diabetics and stuff

  2. how old are you?

  3. almost 18 (well maybe closer to 16)

  4. I have a friend with diabetes. Smokes weed serveral times a day, never had a seizure or anything.

  5. the only bad thing ive found so far is that it fluxuates the gluecose on some people and regulates on others

  6. Just be careful and check your bloodsugar often.

  7. Id advise against it. Marijuana lowers your blood sugar level, this is why you get hungry when you smoke marijuana. The last thing a diabetic needs to do is take something that lowers their blood sugar level. I\'m a huge advocate of medical marijuana and even just regular marijuana for that matter but I\'m going to have to agree with your mom on this one, I don\'t recommend it. If anything ask a profesional doctor first.

Im sure other people will come on here and say they do it and they are fine but that doesn\'t mean its safe. Ive meet meth heads who have been doing meth for 10+ yrs and they are fine, that doesnt mean you should go out and do meth though.

If anything dude talk to a doctor about it. I\'m really not one to tell someone not to smoke but I really think you should seek medical advice because from what I understand smoking marijuana when you are diabetic puts you at a really great risk.

Let us know if you get any info from a doctor on this matter. Diabetis runs in my family so its something ive also wondered about myself.

  8. ive noticed that it does lower my blood sugar, and i probably will be talking to my diabetic specialist about it because i dont want to quit smoking

my mom is more worried about me having a stroke or heart attack then anything

  9. I have been smokin\' pot since I was 19, I\'m 54 on 1/3/07. I\'ve had diabetes since age 12 and thank God I have been breaking the law for more than 30 years. My opthamologist admits cannabis has saved my eyesight from glaucoma. He is not sure about diabetic retrinopathy, but I know cannabis has saved my eyesight from that disease also. My brother never used cannabis and went blind and lost both kidneys 19 years ago from diabetes. I don\'t think cannabis has done anything to save my kidneys but I know without any doubt that cannabis is good for a persons eyes. Actually, while my kidneys are about used up, my eyes are in very good shape. Whether doctors like it or not, people must tell their doctors about cannabis use for a serious illness. I am sick and tired of telling this story while no one listens. There must be others out there who can still see because of cannabis use. Where in hell are you people. Speak up and you will save someone from going blind in the future.
