  2. Diabetes is a major cause of neuropathic pain. Cannabis treats neuropathic pain. Cannabis also stops the growth of excess, often leaky blood vessels in the eyes caused by diabetes. Also CBD appears to help prevent type 2.

    Neuropathic pain is a qualifying condition in most states.

    Those are from "Granny Storm Crow's list" (linked below). There is a whole bunch of studies on treating neuropathic pain with cannabis. If you are in California, almost any condition qualifies you. You'll need to get some recent medical records proving the diabetes or bring in your insulin prescription. Most doctors require the records/recent prescription to eliminate the fakers.
