Depression

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by smile4u, Sep 20, 2009.

  1. So when i first started smoking in 8th grade i started cause my friends did it and it was fun. But over the years i started noticing that my parents bad relationship, school, and other things started making me depressed. I then started realizing some of the time im just smoking weed just to make me feel better and am kinda worried it may lead to something else..... other drugs... drinking.... etc

  2. Yeah, like a lot of drugs weed amplifies your emotions. Which is generally a good thing, but if you're feeling guilty or depressed then weed can intensify that, even if you dont really feel like theres a valid reason to be depressed.

Also, depression is a common withdrawl symptom. My advice would be to cut back on smoking; only do it when you want to, don't use it as a crutch for when youre feeling down.

    Good luck bro:smoke:
