Hey, I'm finally starting my own journal after lurking on here for a year or so. I'm in Denver so I'm legal but I have limited space (apt) so I'm growing for the joy of it. I'll mainly just be posting pics most likely.

I have a 55 gallon tote that I've converted into a 12/12 flower box. I am currently using a 150w hps, 100w mini lotus cfl, and a few other cfls. I have a harbor freight air mover fan for exhaust and 3 passive intakes, each with screen-carbon filters. Smell is minimal.

To limit the size of the plants I've limited Veg time to 2 wks max, sometimes less or none. I'm using FFHF soil, with their 3 main liquid plant foods, and follow the soil feeding schedule they prescribe. I half the amount of grow formula recommended, again to keep them small. My main plants right now were actually started from bagseed of a few ounces I bought here in CO but I have been lucky and have only seen females. I am also adding a clone every other wk or so in order to keep a perpetual grow. Clones are obtained from local dispensary. Strains right now: Blue Dream, Bruce Banner, Purple Flo, Unknown Indica clone, and Alien Dawg.

I have a year or so experience with growing, mainly through others growing but a few attempts myself. This will be my first grow that makes it to harvest though(hopefully).

Im thinking of repotting a few of the flowering plants. Is this a good idea? I'd expect they may stress for a day or two and then continue flowering, is this correct?
Due to my space constraints my main concern is that it would start stretching or revegging, should I be worried?

ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1391145634.863806.jpg New glass straw dabber and wax I just picked up. It's my 1st time w/ wax and it is amazing. Totally worth $25-40/gram. Mahatma brand is the best of the best and it goes for $50, I'll be trying it next. This was Ballpark Holistic Dispensary house Mango wax for $25 a g and it tastes amazing.I have repotted the plants and they look better than ever. Bruce started stretching again as I feared but I think she's finished. She's mostly sativa and is my tallest and nearly outgrowing the tote now. I may have to sell her if she stretches any further. The indica clone is ripening and smells amazing. I wish I knew the strand, but I definitely smell lemon/citrus and stinks soo good. Pics when lights come on.

  5. Dab life. Nice plants, I think it was a good idea to transplant, you ever try to bend the tall one over gently with some ties or string? You may be able to keep her from getting taller, nice to see another fellow CO resident on the forum. Sub'd in.

ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1391185954.520088.jpg Here's Bruce. I'm happy with the transplant. She stretched for a day or so but has returned HEAVILY to flower. She was hairy all over but those tops buds were practically overnight. Also, I had defoliated heavily throughout flower. Her leaves are only about 2 wks old but I may give her another cut soon.

Very sativa; I'm expecting a full 10 wk flower. Where in CO?

I like how the p Flo clone is transitioning. Only about an inch of stretching so far and she has hair at each node of her top half. I will repot her soon, perhaps another week. She could be finished as soon as end of March. I plan to keep all new plants similar in size.

  10. Nice dense looking buds man, im in springs. Pflo clone looks healthy too!

It seems like the buds are really starting to swell. I figure they should fatten for the next 20-25 days. I will likely feed 2 more wks then flush until harvest. She was fully flushed and has only had water since her recent repotting. I'd say she has maybe 25% amber hairs.I also have a Blue Dream clone that seems like it's coming back to life. I cut it myself and have basically just left it under a dome for the past 2 wks. It's starting to show new growth and hairs. I'll introduce her when I'm sure she's going to make it.

I use the straw to consistently measure the ph up. 1/4 tsp for tap water, more if Nutes added. The next two are Bruce, quickly becoming the Hulk. The last pic is the blue dream. She was in bad need of repotting which caused the claw leaves I believe. Also, her new pot didn't entirely cover her top roots which I'm sure she did not appreciate. She seems to be loving life now and her buds have dramatically improved.

I'm adding at least one clone today. I will be picking it up from burnzwell dispensary. I'm assuming direct links are not allowed but google them and look at their list of strains under clones. Which should I get? I'll be flowering immediately so size is not a factor; no need to avoid sativa-dominant genes.

  14. Hard to say man, burnzwell just has an arbitrary list of strains, who knows if they are true genetics, have you smoked any of their bud? I would go by which clone looks the healthiest/ if you've enjoyed any of their strains theres a good chance the clone is the same genetics. I checked out their website, no picture's of their clone bar at all

  15. Yea they cut directly from their own growing strains.

I haven't done much research in to genetics and I'm not sure where burnzwell sourced from. At my experience level I'm trying to stay cheap for now, which is why I stick w the $5 clones. If I ever see a profit from this then I'll start looking for more elite and pricier sources. Based on strain I'm thinking purple dragon or Hindu Kush.

  17. Right, so I would pick whichever one has the best lookin nugs, otherwise we are just choosing which one has the prettiest name lol

I suppose I should look at their bud, lol. I've only ever bought clones from them. No new clones today, I was busy making my box even more stealth by painting the outside black and inside white (additional coat). I believe it is entirely opaque now, prior ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1391322270.836644.jpg it had been very obvious when the light was on due to the thin gray walls.
