I've got those jars, they only really fit a 1/4 of bud unless your shit is packaged and compressed! I end up fitting an ounce in 32 oz Smuckers Jelly jar hahaha.
lol yea i bet you will fill more than you think. Especially for curing, you dont want the jars filled to their limit, you want some air room in there. I use half gallon jars, so one jar is 4x the size of yours mainly so during cure and shit, i dont have to burp a bunch of jars, i can just burn the few with bud hahaha
