Hey guys... So I'm new to growing and when I decided to set up I went with a RDWC system. So my set up is basically - x2 4 Seasons PARMax 400 - x3 plants (unsure of strain) - Reservoir & Bins 90ltrs - Nutes - currently in veg using "Elements Nutrifield" A & B Grow and Veg Ignite all at half strength - PH between 5.8 and 6 - EC/Ppm 1.2/840 So my plants are in their third week of veg on a 18/6 light cycle. They seem to be doing ok although I wouldn't really know because I've never done this before lol, but I have a couple of questions and hope someone can help... 1. I have topped these plants once, and they seem to be doing quite well but they're quite short and bushy underneath. I'm wondering is it time to defoliate or should I leave them until I top them again. 2. So two of my plants seem to be doing quite well (2 and 3) but one is quite a bit smaller has these weird looking fan leaves. Ive topped 2 and 3 but I haven't done 1 yet. She was quite sick when I spotted her and really has come alone way but I'm wondering if I should let it go and see what happens or pull it now and start again with a fresh new plant. 3. Number 3a - I'm wondering if that's a new seedling popping up there or is it a weed lol 4. Me plants seem to be yellowing a little and I just noticed one is starting to get what looks like burn spots on them does anyone know what that is? What are you foliar spraying? There should be no need if the roots are in the water and how close you got the light?
PPM way too high drop down to 200-300 ppm see what it does. Ph goes up while ppm goes down feed more. Ph goes down ppm goes up too strong add some water
Learn to read your girls before it gets too late Hydro has was less buffer for issues so dont under do it or over do it it can be easy as u make it
