Hey guys, in your opinion, what do you think I should use to start growing. Number one concern is price. I don't want something expennsive. Cause I don't need something expensive. Im looking to grow a a couple of plants or so. I came up with these, so give me your ratings. I don't understand. Are these going to be grown indoors? The first three links look to be mini green houses. That would seem pointless to me when growing indoors. The second three links show shelves and cabinets that are way to short for weed. Figure one foot of height in plant per gallon of water/soil. If you have a five gallon bucket, the plant could get 5 feet tall. A five foot tall plant does not look like it would ft in those cabinets. You would have to do some major LST to keep them short. Do you not have a closet to use or are you in need of a grow box?
well, if I get the greenhouses, it will probably be outside. with the racks, it will probably be inside. I figured, that if I post seperately on the two different sections, I would get biased reviews. So yeah, the top 3 will be for outdoors, and bottom for indoors. And I don't need to grow a plant too big, since this is my first time. Just maybe 2 feet TOPS. An I don't really have a closet space that I can put pot in or anything for that matter since all my closets are full. And yes, thats exactly what I need, a grow box. And no I don't have a big enough closet space available at the time, and yes I am looking for a grow box.
For Inside Id suggest you to knock up a wooden frame about 4 foot square, cover this in Black/white or mylar (or cheap silver wrapping paper), leave one side unsealed (this will be your door). Seal the unsealed side at the top only. now seal down the sides of the 'door' with velcro. to get in/out roll the velco-sealed door up/down. Then hang 1 42w cool white cfl 1 inch above plant, veg for as long as you like/can bear then switch to 12/12 To switch to 12/12 switch both bulbs for 1 (or 2 if you can afford) 125or200w envirolite with reflector (home made out of cardboard+mylar if you like) and water as needed. hope that helps
yeah i've ran outa closet space myself, i was going to build a new hydro setup with an 18gal tub but i never went to get it.. instead i just got fucked up one night and converted my entire basement bathroom into a grow area with my bathtub being a really good size "bubble bucket" .. can't wait to see what happens with this shit haha =) so, i suggest your spare bathroom, it's fun. in the spirit of things it really helps to take a few bong rips before starting, it eases the whole "omg i'm really sealing off my entire bathroom to support my habit" feeling.
you need to do some serious reading, look at kamels guide to cfl's, its a sticky. read read read good luck
