Dear FCC:

  1. Why do you insist on using "nice" words in movies in place of the ones already there, however objectionable those words may be? Somehow, substituting "poop" for "shit" in a raunchy adult comedy such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall does not produce the same emotional effect. In fact, the substitution makes the scene ridiculous. Everyone, including the innocent and naive children you so valiantly attempt to protect (this is a 14+ program, by the way :rolleyes:), knows what the phrase was without the censor. It's pointless to keep up a charade that makes no sense and serves no purpose.
