DEA faces federal lawsuit for blocking marijuana research

    This article is from 2011. The lawsuit was already settled. Not surprisingly the DEA prevailed.

    Now lets research the medicinal qualities of alcohol... oh thats right, there are NONE. Why is it legal?
     
    i love how the government acts like they care for your health, yet alcohol, cigarettes, and food additives that are proven to cause cancer are still 100% legal. Not to mention the pharmaceuticals that cause liver failure, kidney failure, sudden death, stroke, heart attack, ect ect ect.

    Alcohol has several medicinal qualities. Its antiseptic qualities are unmatched. And moderate use will keep your heart healthier and your anxiety down. A glass of red wine a day keeps the doctor away.

    There is absolutely no such thing as a drug with no medicinal value.

    Hell...doctors hand out xanax like it was candy, and they are essentially alcohol pills. They act on the same receptors using the same mechanism and have the exact same effects as ethanol.
