I'd give it atleast a few more days, if not a week, it's never too late to harvest but too early can make ur yield junk.
What day it is doesn't matter, what matters is how the trichomes look under a magnifier. I never judge just from outward look. When most of the trichs are mikly-white it's ready.
Yeah but looks without magnifying can be deceptive. If I were forced to guess I'd say they are close to ready if not ready. OP, invest a few bucks in a 30x jeweler's loupe
Thank you for replies to all, I did order a 50-100x pocket microscope. But I wanted to assure they are not past their D day.
If they aren't 100% ready I'm sure they are close enough that it won't matter much. In the words of Obi-Wan Kenobi, "Trust your feelings..." EDIT: For future reference...
the growers friend. I would not harvest without one. Illuminated Microscope - RadioShack.com oh and just for kicks read the reviews on that page. most of them are from pot growers
Hey guys, thank you very much for your replies! I just got new microscope (60x-100x zoom) Trichomes look really nice if i guess percentages: plant #1 milky 60% amber 40% plant #2 clear 20% milky 80% thinking about harvesting #1 in 2-3 days
The first plant is done i think. I'm gonna cut it today, hope I won't mess it up... Gotta do research first Other plant will be ready in one week I think (and hope). Thanks for replies guys, appreciate it.
little update: I just finished my Drying box, I wanted to be prepared...cause I know my self, I would've ended up holding buds and nowhere to put them and flowers... Day 61 Plant #1 Plant #2
EarlofTea, what kind of light bulb is that under there? Was that the only one used the whole grow? Did you expose the plants to sun light as well? Thanks
