Dark during Veg???

    Hi, i was wondering if it was as important to keep a grow room completely dark during veg. as it is with flowering?? Any negative effects during veg. like a tv being on or a desk lamp. Growing in a closet and keep door open at night and sometimes the computer monitor or desk light is on once the closet timer lights go out.

    you want to have it completely dark during the dark cycle... if thats not possible then just veg for 24 hrs

    Do that or turn off the monitor and lamp or close the closet door.

    I will close the door, what are the ill effects though just wondering???

    Stressed plants. possibility of hermaphrodites. decrease in yield. vegging 24/0 would work also and give a bit of a better yield.

    I have been at 18/6 for a month so i don't know if i can switch it to 24/0 without stressing my veggies more???

    I am a total total total newb and have read it
    a billion times but I just want to make sure.
    when you say 24/0 or 24/7 that meants
    constant light 24 hours a day right? I
    just want to make sure so I dont mess
    my little babies up!

    You are correct. While vegging you can have your plants under light with no dark periods.
