Damage Pruning

  1. I've been getting mixed reports from people on whether to prune your plants or not. This is not pruning simply to increase bud yield or remove foliage that isn't getting enough light.

I'm talking about pruning away leaves that are necrotic or damaged for one reason or another. I read somewhere that unless a leaf is still 60% intact, keeping it on the stem is doing more harm than good.

I had a few problems early on with my grow but everything seems to be going fine now. The evidence of my stupidity is however still barely clinging to life at the bottom of my baby. Anyone want to weigh in on this?

  2. I would agree with what you've heard, unless 60% is gone keep it.....But definitely trim the nasty parts off of that 60%.

  3. Any other thoughts? (bump)
