Curing in the sun?

    So i ended up smoking with this random dude at the mall, had a mmj card and he said something about curing buds in the sun? does it work? what do you guys think? i was just planning to leave them in my mason jar in my  room.

    What would be the purpose of curing in the sun besides exposing the weed to heat and light (both detrimental)?

    Sunlight degrades thc after it begins to and is dried

    oh yea would applying hash to the buds like a week before harvest make them better/more potent or  a waste of time and money?

    Waste of time and money.  Just apply hash to bud you are about to smoke.

    Sure it could be...in a sense. It would be done in a mass harvest situation where large piles are covered in burlap. These piles are stirred to prevent mold, and the heat generated by the sun helps begin lactic fermentation, which is the first step in a proper cure.
