"cureing" bud?

  1. my friend said he is cureing his bud, he says its when he puts the bud in a sealed jar with some water for a day, then he lets it sit in the jar without the water to dry out for a day. he says the bud looks and smokes better because it is healthier. Is this total bullshit or is it true?

  2. not sure how this has anything to do with sick plants haha but here goes..

"curing" is done in air tight glass containers sometimes opened 10-15 mins daily for weeks or sometimes a month or so to get rid of harshness/bad taste... but no, putting it in a jar with water after being dried is stupid. if someone disagrees thats fine, but no, water + bud = stupid unless you're using a water bong and you just choke it up haha

  3. there is a way to water cure buds that it supposedly faster than normal air drying

  4. A water cure can actually improve bunk weed. THC is not water soluable but there are many other substances in weed that can be removed by soaking in warm water for several hours, change water until it stops turning color and then drying in the open air to prevent molding.

CBN and CBD are commonly the cause for differences in "high" and can even override the THC so that your weed seems bunk. Get rid of the non desirables and see if it improves your weed.

We got a bunch of bunk weed once and were we ever pissed off. The Marijuana Growers Guide by Ed Rosenthal describes the water cure as a method for improving the quality of bunk weed. So we tried it and damned if it didn't make it better than the good shit we had been smoking. Try it.
