I just have a general question that I have for anyone with personal experience on it. I can't make up my mind on wether to buy an OdorSok filter or a Charcoal can filter... Any input on odor control, one vs the other? Thanks
Charcoal can filter is a lot better. The sock might be a little cheaper but when it's done it's usually it's trash. You can probably wash it 1 or 2 times, but after that it doesn't work anymore. When the can filter stops working in 3 or so months, then all you do is buy activated carbon and it's only 10-25 dollars to refill depending on the size of the carbon scrubber. IMO lasts longer, and filters smell better.
Buy a filter thats probably one step bigger then you need if size permits, and change it after about a year, i have had mine running for about 1.5 years and no smell and my Gf is a pain about the smell so i know its still working.
