My roommate has a bearded dragon, which he feeds crickets every so often. I found what I believe to be an immature house cricket crawling along the outside of my tent today. smashed him up but it got me wondering, do they pose any risk or benefit? Share some knowledge fellow blades, I'm going to go take a picture of the smashed guts and scour the land for his little hoppie friends.
Crickets eat plant material - so probably a bad idea to keep him around. Spiders (of the non-mite variety) are beneficial. Same with ladybugs. Bugs that eat bugs = good Bugs that eat plants = bad
Thanks guys. I posted the pics in the sick problems sub-forum instead because I thought it made more sense there. http://forum.grasscity.com/sick-plants-problems/722735-crickets-garden-problem.html?highlight=crickets+garden
