If you have a credit card, what is the use of having cash? Very very few places don't take credit card these days.
Who doesnt take cash? With a credit card you really are spending money you dont have, better off getting a debit card and putting all your money in the bank if you want to spend all the time. At least you arent as likely to get into deep debt that way.
Within the next 50 years I can see us having cashless society. Then I start to think about a microchipped population...
