Couple Daylights and sum Cool Blue's

    i got my 3 plants on daytime 27w cfls

    but they startin 2 add up when they fizz out

    so i seen the 42w cool blues at the store 2day

    i read i can add 1 or 2 cool blues 2 complete the color spectrum

    should i grab 1 or 2 to increase light...i cant find a 42w daytime for nuthin

    cool blues should be the same spectrum as the daylight shouldn't it? the daylights are a blue light around 5000 to 65000k aren't they? and the cool blues i don't know but by the name, sounds like they should have a similar blue light spectrum.

    if your looking to add a bit of red spectrum ( 2000 to 3000k) you should look at soft whites, they are usually 2500k if i remember right.

    either way, more light/lumens/watts isn't going to hurt anything.

    Soft white..

    they got 42w soft white

    is that gonna work tha same as the daylights

    lol man i have 4 42W cfl's and 3 23 watt cfl's and mine are doing fine... just keep the lights close.

    u have daylites or soft whites?
