I tend to be pretty pessimistic when it comes to the possibility of legalization in the near future but its hard to ignore progress like this.

what do you guys feel will be the time frame for legalization in the US if ever? I know a lot depends on the success of what amounts to experimentation in states like California if they manage to legalize it there.

BTW I live where that raid happened recently. One of my brothers friends knows the guy personally.

  2. federal law > states rights
    [IMG]

  3. Incorrect, states have the right to make laws concerning things not specified in the constitution.

  4. Lol states rights and federal laws LOL.... its all about money that is the only thing m-o-n-e-y. There is little money left, and if pot will change that then we might see a change in pot.

  5. I honestly believe it will be 1-3 years.

  6. This right here ^^

  7. Legalized (State law)? 5 - 10 years, at best.

Decriminalized on a WIDE scale (at least 40 out of 50 states)? Eh, probably 1-2 years, IF California can continue it's push.

Federally recognized as legal or decriminalized? Never.

Sorry, but there's little chance in hell you're going to get the Government to acknowledge that they pretty much fucked up 70+ years ago when they criminalized hemp. If the benefits that have been staring them in the face haven't convinced them yet, it ain't gonna happen.

Fucking sad and ignorant Government that will actually allow the obliteration of the Rain Forests that affect climate in a Global scale vs. simply legalizing MJ, especially for hemp production.

The irony is it's probably worse for EVERYONE'S health to wipe out the Rain Forests than legalize weed and deal with it's after-effects.

  8. which i guess could be considered good news for pot smokers considering it doesn't look like money problems will be leaving the picture any time soon.:D

  9. Sheesh, tell that to the Federal Agent slapping handcuffs on you about your "States Rights"...Like any agency gives a flying fuck about Rights anymore. All they have to do is claim "terrorism" and you're throw-away-the-key fucked.

  10. all of the USA in 10 years
states like californiway ( lol tell me what show says californieway instead of callifornia ) in maybe 5 years
    but canada in 3-5 years

  11. south park:hello: great episode

  12. LOOL ya

    NOOOOOO INTERNET

    HAND DRAWN PORN

ASIANS TAKING A SHIT ON EACH OTHER

  13. the two things are not comparable for federal laws trump those of the states but that has little to with what states rights actually are

Kill your dogs(one of which was in a cage)
    And what do they find?
    One piece
    A little bud.
Maybe if they had some real intel and not some bullshit "I hope we find something"
I feel bad for their kid.

    comrade.

  17. not gonna happen. weed is still looked down upon in society even among many young people in ways alcohol is not. i hope im wrong, but i think im right

  18. I don't think it shoould be legalized because it would only be for money and not because of the realization that it's not bad and also with our country which is full of greedy capitolistic shits would just go and fuck it all up and ruin a great herb I wish there was anther way but America would just Fu k this one up

  19.

Can we keep ignorance like this out of a discussion about time frame for legalization? Legalizing it would be in no way bad for anyone that respects marijuana. I'd like to be able to grow my own plants without being considered a felon.

I think a large part of when legalization will occur is going to be determined through california when november rolls around. Hopefully we will see legalization on the ballot there, and it will get passed. This will set a movement in motion to get it legalized nationwide.
