i saw this planter thing on tv made for tomatoes that grows them upside down. could this work for pot? link: http://www.asseenontvguys.com/index...D&ProdID=267&gclid=CJmbyYaZ65ECFQMKPAodewEeyQ its supposed to make the nutrients flow to the plant better or something.
Tomatoes are a vining plant, which makes them suitable for this type of growing. So long as they get sunlight and have something to support the vines, it won't matter so much how the pot holds the roots. This kind of pot would work just as well for any kind of squash, legumes, grapes or any other vining plant. MJ? Not so much. As a plant it's pretty easily trained, but it's not likely you're going to get the same kind of results as you would if you just grew it in a normal pot. Still, you could probably get some results. I think the real question is what advantages do you see from growing this way?
