I went down to my local gardening place today looking for stuff for my outdoor soil grow. The closest thing I could find was labelled lawn fertilizer and had a ratio of 29/3/4. Should I buy this and mix it with my topsoil, or is there actual soil that I'm supposed to buy that has the correct nutrients in it?
Buy you some straight 0-0-0 potting soil Scotts makes some and some perilite, and then add the ferts you want. I use: 1. 40% Scotts 0-0-0 Potting soil 2. 40% perilite 3. 10% Composted manure 4. 5% Blood meal 5. 5% Bone Meal 6. Bottom of pot lined with an inch or so of river gravle (steralized)
