concept of vaporizing??

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by jdav, Jan 30, 2012.

  1. is it known whether the first hit is the most potent?

when you light the top of the bowl, the top layer gets ashy, but the air and smoke is pulled through the weed right below while still at high temperatures, so arent you vaping a portion of the weed that you didnt even get to yet? the next hit will be less potent because some of the chemicals were already a liiitle vaped, right?

probably wouldnt be a noticeable difference though, just thinkin out loud

  2. Valid point indeed. However its all based on time and remaining THC(ignoring other cannabinoids for simplicity) So say you got 100% of the thc(not content jus what your starting with) in your bowl or w/e it is for your vape. Say you take a good 12 second hit or so right? Say you extract a good % of THC because there was plenty present. Now theres less. In your 2nd hit youll have less THC to vaporize and i belive you will get less in the same amount of time. If you were to hit longer you could get the same potency every hit.

What? The kind of vapor you'll produce depends on what vaporizer you use. Off a good one, you'll get NO "ash." That doesn't exist with vape. Most higher end vapes will circulate the pot to get even hits many times after the first.

    Google it man.
