Official and full CONAN THE BARBARIAN 3D movie trailer I feel like 3D takes away from the plot on these movies, the directors always go for the big flashy special effects to sell their movies... inception is a perfect example of why you don't need 3D to make a good movie...
Yeah but Inception had a awesome plot, i cant imagine a amazing "conan the barbarian" plot. Sometime movies like that need the flashy effects.
the original did not need 3D I mean obviously it didn't exist back then but still clash of the titans is the perfect example of using 3D to sell that movie fucking sucked!
Clash of the Titans was done as a post-conversion method. This means that they filmed the movie with no intention of it being 3D, then hopped on the bandwagon when they saw the potential success. The result was a two month conversion, and a mess of a movie. I think the same applies to many movies nowadays. They see the potential in making a few extra dollars by adding a 3D gimmick. It stands to say that Conan never needed a reboot as the original still holds up incredibly well to this day. The addition of 3D is like an extra slap in the face when all is said and done.
