  1. does anyone know what would be causing my computer to run videos extremly slow

any website with videos on it takes forever to load, youtube take like 25 minutes, same with google video, i have tried any porn websites but im sure there slow too

    someone help!!!!

    thanks lol

  2. You might have to reset your router(if you have one) or your modem. If you keep your computer on all the time like i do then you may need to restart it cause after awhile it will start to slow.

Hopefully that helped, if not I'm not too sure, but I'm sure some super tech savvy blades will know what to do.

  3. Run disk clean up. It may be that the temporary files folder is over loaded.

  4. that sounds like it could be the culprit

i thought temp files delted themselves after awhile anyway, thus the name temporary file lol

how do i run this disk clean up?

    thanks again

  5. Just go to Start> accessories> system tools and scroll down to disk clean up and run it. Hope it works man.:smoke:

  6. damn its still running really really slow on sites with videos

thanks for the help though, i did gain some space back from runnign that program

  7. is it a older computer with a on board ethernet port?

get a good ethernet card will fix that problem otherwise your fucked

  8. i wish i could say it is

but its the laptop i got for graduation, i havent downloaded anything to it either

  9. yah probably something with your router or internet connection/ settings. Other then that... buy a MAC... problem SOLVED :D

  10. Well how old is it? Alot of computers you buy brand new these days cant even run a video.

The companies think your getting a good deal on a deceents computer but they are yeally shit, alot of laptops too.

Im sure its a software issue.(im kind of a computer geek:smoking:) and I run into this stuff alot. But it could be the router, thats always a possibility.

  11. http://housecall.antivirus.com <-- Go there and scan your computer to see if it is infected with anything. Do you have anti virus software installed? Is it updated? Do you scan regularly?
