I'm looking to build a computer for video and image editing. I don't need it for gaming. I would like this monitor with a resolution of 2560x1440. Budget <500$. Any recommendations?
So this is what I came up with: Graphics: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202004 CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277 Power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152028 MoBo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157309 Harddrive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339 Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146076 DVD Burner: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136259 Anyone have any recommendations to make this cheaper without sacrificing too much quality, but most important affordable upgradability/ ablity to run 2560x1440 resolution with several pictures/videos playing at once? I think the motherboard/processor/graphics combo could use tweaking.
You are gonna need far more than 4 GB of ram to comfortably use vide and photo editing software. I would suggest thinking about upgrading that to 8 GB or more.
More ram is always nice, I sit okay with 6 and can play Supcom + Sins of a Solar Empire + Photoshop + Dreamweaver + Itunes + Firefox and shit load more. With just a Dual Core.
ha, yeah I pretty much put on another game when I have to wait in lobby for a different game. So if Im waiting for a Supcom to fill up then ill play some counter strike while thats happening. x3 Screen is the best.
Might aswell just play counterstrike the whole time and while you are dead waiting for new round play a diff game .... lol
