Communist Manifesto

  1. Have any of you blades read the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx? He basically asserts that's history has just been a long series of class confkicts. The ruling class is a very small percentage of the population that owns the means of production. They are in continuous class struggle with the working class. He basically views history as just a transition of on going class struggles between the oppressasorand the oppressed. When the working rises up against the ruling class and a revolution takes place. I think this can clearly be applied to current trends today, wealth inequality is ever increasing as our society  becomes increasingly polarized. The middle class is disappearing as society becomes divided into rich and poor. Marx says that the ruling class maintains controls through advances in the means of production. Workers become increasingly devalued as machinery simplifies tasks. This means low wages and increased competition for low skill jobs. The ruling class is ever prone to capitalistic crises when production exceeds demand. This leads to either the market finding a more efficient way to allocate resources (unlikely) or they conquest New markets (likely). This leads to even the poorest countries entangled within the global capitalistic economy, these countries are forced to embrace the system of our "free market" economy and thus the ruling class. I personally believe a strong central government is required to maintain control over our immense economy. Business must be regulated because they will sacrifice quality products and safety for profits. The apathy in this country is amazing, every body complains but no one ever unites and protests. This year's congress was literally the second worst ever, thankfully the house Republicans are fed up with the Tea Party. They really do discredit the entire party when they listen to those wackos. But yeah that's just my baked take on it, I can't remember what this post is even about anymore lol

  2. I want to go to jack in the box and help keep a worker in a job. Fuckers make some good shit.

  3. I haven't read the entire document but Marx wasn't dumb. I hate when people disregard his thoughts and beliefs because they think communists are "evil". Op what do you think about other versions of communism like socialism?Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

  4. Very smart man. I haven't read his manifesto but his ideas filtered through to me through George Orwell and his books. Also, I think George Orwell was very accurate in his portrayal of our future.

  5. Yeah, people automatically think someone's dumb just because they dont agree.

  6.
Marx wasn't dumb but he also didn't examine the whole picture from both sides. It really depends on perspective; can capitalism exist without Marxism, or vice versa?

  7. Garbage.

Completely against human nature which is why it has failed EVERY time it has been applied.  Do a few searches on Venezuela and if you can get past the bullshit propaganda you will see it is "fair" failure across the board.

Capitalism may not be perfect, but it is the best we have and documented in bringing ALL standards of living higher.

There will always be rich, always be poor.

Always be lazy, always be motivated.

Don't crush the motivated in feeling sorry for the lazy.  :)

  8.
If capitalism is so great, why does 20 percent of the U.S. population hold all of the wealth?

If machines did all low skilled labor the poor "low skilled" would eventually need to acquire skills and further Benefit the country. Instead though we increase the gap between rich and poor and keep peacefully conquering other countries. And didn't Venezuela keep re electing Chavez. They love him down there.Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

  11. So instead of appreciating that our poor have the highest standards of living in the world, you focus on those whose priority is wealth.

Do you apply the same standards to those in the entertainment and sports industries?  They are the top 2% and cater to all the rest.

When the question is wrong, your answers tend to be right.  And this is completely illogical and irrational.

Take a look at the despair in socialist countries around the world.  No hope for anyone, but misery for everyone.  Don't get sucked into the "emotional" aspect.  There is NO utopia as long as human nature remains as it is.  And that nature is power and wealth......Stalin lived very well...as did Castro...Minh....Chavez.....on and on and on and on.

    Covet at your own risk.

  12. It isnt the free market, therefore its only a fascistic model. if you don't know that then what are you doing discussing communism and capitalism.

Denmark, Finland, and Cuba seem to be doing pretty good. But tell me more about how there is no hope in these countries.Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

People start getting into apples to oranges comparisons where trying to describe this "socialist" country vs that "socialist" country, and it is never as simple as that. You also need to define terms before you start throwing them about.

This website does a very good job of explaining countries and their "socialist" vs "capitalist" economies.
